Thinking Inking Class

Friday, June 18, we will be working on a faded embossing technique.  Come anytime between 6pm -10pm to give it a try!!!  We will be using Tim Holtz Distress inks and Distress embossing ink to create a fun little tag for you to use as a bookmark or even as a gift tag for a friend.

Cost for the class is $3 and it is always free to crop during store hours!!!

Make and Take Saturday

Hero Arts Cards

At long last I have pictures of the upcoming Hero Arts Class!!!  These are the stamps we will be using in the class and the best part of the class is they are yours to keep!!!!

I just love all the ways you can use these stamps and we will be exploring a few of them in class!!!  Please bring an acrylic block, black ink, and your regular class kit to class on Thursday.

I will be posting these individually on my blog after Thursday's class and will include instructions for each.

What a wonderful weekend it was!!!!

Hi ladies!!! I hope you have had a great start to your week!!! It is so hard to believe we are already in the middle of June....time certainly does fly by when you are having fun!!!  I had a blast with all of my classes over the weekend!!! Four classes in three days, boy it was crazy, but tons of fun!!!! You all are such a joy and I just have to say that working with all of you is my favorite part about scrapbooking!!!  Here are a few pictures from the weekend!!!  I apologize for those of you I missed and for forgetting my camera on Thursday night!!  We just have so much fun at Simply Fresh Arts and I want to encourage more of you to come and join in!!!

Thinking Inking Class tonight!!!

Happy Friday everyone!!!  It's going to be a busy day today with the Create Banner Class

scheduled at 2:00 this afternoon and Thinking Inking Class from 6-10 tonight!!!

I just love the Thinking Inking Classes!!!

They are truly my favorite part of the week!!!!

I also have to say that I had a blast with the ladies last night at the Graphic 45 Proper Gentleman Card Class!!!!  You ladies were awesome and your cards turned out amazing!!! I was so bummed when I realized I forgot my CF Card ...so no pictures from this class.  I am so sorry about that!!!  I do want to let everyone know that the instructions to the class are on my blog so you can click on the link and access those!!  I do have one kit left over, so if anyone is interested call the store at (406) 586-9249 and we will get it right to you in time to make your Father's Day Cards!!!

SFA Kit Sneaks and Thinking Inking 6/11

Hi Friends!!!

I hope you have had a great start to your summer!!!  Graduation is now over and I have been hard at work designing Simply Fresh Art's first Monthly Project kit!!!  I am very excited about the whole venture as we are starting with my favorite company... October Afternoon!!!!  Love, love, love their papers!!!  Here's a sneak peek at the project kit!!!  It's a sweet little vintage album full of wonderful quotes that will be perfect for any heritage photos and ephemera you may want to preserve.

The Maya Road Kraft Envelopes are perfect for any memories or trinkets you may want to tuck inside!!!

I just love this little album and I hope you will too!!!

Since I have been working so hard on the Project Kit, I am behind on posting this week's Thinking Inking Class.  So sorry about that!!!  This week we will be working with Tim Holtz Embossing Folders and making his famous rose out of grungeboard.  Way fun!!!  

Please count on a few extra minutes to complete the tags this week as the rose has several steps to complete. You will be amazed at how easy it is to make!!!

In this class create four wonderful cork pages, either boy or girl, perfect to hang on your wall or put in a frame.  These pages were created by Peggy and use lots of fun embellishments, paints, stamps, papers and more.

Paint Pages

In this class create a double page spread using paints by Claudine Hellmuth.  You will learn lots of ways to incorporate paint into your art and leave with wonderful pages full of texture and interest.
